Perfect for your next taco night! 🌮 Juicy, flavorful, and easy to assemble!

Ingredients

  • 2.5 lbs milanesa beef (top round, eye of round, sirloin, or flank)
  • 1/8 cup orange juice
  • 3/8 cup lime juice
  • 3/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1.5 tsp onion powder
  • 1.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 3/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1.5 tsp cumin
  • 1.5 tsp oregano
  • 1 large white onion
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • Chopped onions and cilantro, for serving
  • Tortillas

Instructions

  1. Make the marinade: In a bowl, combine orange juice, lime juice, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, sugar, cumin, and oregano. Mix well.
  2. Prepare aromatics: Slice the white onion into rings and mince the garlic.
  3. Layer and marinate: In a large bowl, layer onions, cilantro, and steak. Pour a portion of the marinade over the steak, then repeat layers until all ingredients are combined. Mix gently to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours.
  4. Cook the steak: Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak 2–4 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until cooked through.
  5. Rest and serve: Let the steak rest for a few minutes. Chop into bite-sized pieces and serve with warm tortillas, onions, and cilantro.
