Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped

  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped

  • 1 cup carrots, sliced

  • 4*14.5oz chicken broth = 58oz (72oz)

  • 14.5oz vegetable broth = 14.5

  • 1/2lb chicken, chopped

  • 1.5 cups egg noodles

  • 1/2 tsp dried basil

  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

  • Salt and pepper, optional

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, carrots and celery and cook until just tender, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add chicken broth and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add chicken, egg noodles, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
